Changing router settings

before you change router setting , you should know, how to access router page. please click the following link to know how to access router page.
Accessing router setup page

Routers services easily modify from router’s ADMIN page:
1)Changing WiFi SSID and Password.
2)Changing Router IP address
3)Making router’s access as Open access.
4)Enabling or Disabling DHCP server.
5)Checking how many devices are connected to router
6) Blocking devices from getting connect with router etc

Assuming you know atleast how to access  router setup page. If you don’t know,how to access router page,  please visit above mentioned link.
Changing WiFi name or SSID
Click on Wireless->Wireless Settings
Enter new name of SSID or WiFi name in Wireless Network Name field  click on save.

Changing Password
Click on Wireless->Wireless Security
Select WPA/WPA2 – Personal(Recommended) and enter Password in Password field of WPA/WPA2 – Personal(Recommended).Click on save.

Note:Whatever changes you have made will affect the after you reboot the router.If they are asking you for reboot please click on reboot or to reboot click on
System Tools->Reboot.

Click on Network -> LAN. Enter new IP address in the field of IP address. Before changing  , IP address of router was 192.168.0.254 . Now you can access router using new IP address 192.168.0.10 .

If you want to make your WiFi as open access  means any  one can connect without password then follow the following steps.
Click on Wireless->Wireless Security
Select Disable Security and click on save .please don’t forget to reboot.

Normally DHCP server of router is OFF by default. To Enable DHCP server please click on DHCP -> DHCP Settings and select DHCP Server Enable .

Click on Wireless -> Wireless Statistics

Click on Wireless -> Wireless MAC Filtering -> Add New -> Enter MAC address of device which you want to block -> click on save.

Whatever changes you have made will affect  after you reboot the router. If they are asking you for reboot please click on reboot or to reboot click on
System Tools->Reboot.
