Sharing dashboards on thingsboard

Here we will see, how to share dashboards with customers or clients on thingsboard. Assuming you know, how to create a device and  dashboard on thingsboard . If you don’t know, how to create a device and  dashboard on thingsboard, please click on the following links.

1)Here we will  see how to share Temperature dashboard with client or customer. One who shares the dashboard is known  Administrator and one who see the shared dashboard is known as Customer. You can share one dashboard with more than one client or customer simultaneously.

2)To share dashboard with customer you need to create a customer profile on thingsboard . To create a customer profile, first click on CUSTOMERS and then Click on Add new customer shown in below image

3)Title: Enter name for Client or Customer.
ADD: Click on ADD

4)Congrats Customer Profile is created. One customer can have one or multiple users.

5)First click on Manage customer users  to Create user account or profile on thingsboard , shown in above image and then Click on Add new user (plus sign)shown in below image

6)Email: Enter valid email address of user.

7)Scroll down and  choose activation method
Activation method: choose Display activation link if you want activation link to be display on your screen for user account activation or choose Send Activation mail if you want to receive email for user account activation.
ADD: Click on ADD

8)Copy your activation link and paste in another browser for User account activation and click on OK .

9)Enter Password for User account and click on CREATE PASSWORD. Congrats you have successfully  created user profile for seeing dashboard.

10)Please perform following steps on Administrator account to share device of corresponding dashboard.
1)Now click on Manage customer device to share, device of  corresponding dashboard with customer , shown in below image.
2)Click on Assign new user
3)Select Corresponding device name of dashboard which you want to share

11)Please perform following steps on Administrator account to share dashboard .
1)Now click on Manage customer dashboard to share, dashboard with customer , shown in below image.
2)Click on Assign new dashboard
3)Select dashboard name which you want to share

12)Now sign in on thingsboard with user or customer account and Check your dashboard to see shared dashboard. You should be able to see Temperature dashboard on Customer dashboards.
